Bluegrass gospel band at Homeland Baptist

Never Fade bluegrass gospel band will perform at First Baptist Church of Homeland on Sunday, Feb. 12, at 10:45 a.m.

Cecil McClellan of Victory Church in Lakeland, plays acoustic guitar and sings lead and tenor. Roger Marlow, First Baptist Church of the Mall in Lakeland, plays bass fiddle and harmonic and contributes bass vocals.

On dobro and lead vocals is Bill Keen of New Hope Worship Center in Plant City. Playing banjo and bass and singing baritone is Charlie Hamrick of Sky Crest Baptist in Clearwater. David Beaumont of St. Anthony’s Church in San Antonio sings tenor and plays mandolin.

Never Fade has been in part-time ministry since 1997 and has recorded six CDs. The group primarily ministers on weekends at churches, festivals, special events and private gatherings. They also help raise funds for charitable causes and events.

Based in Lakeland, the group performs primarily in Central Florida, but has also ministered in other southeastern states.First Baptist is at 208 Church St., Homeland.
