City OKs pact for CRA executive director position
Bartow City Commissioners passed an interlocal agreement to make the executive director of the Community Redevelopment Board an employee of the city with the city manager being his boss.
The board voted 4-0 Monday to approve the pact and it will come up at the CRA’s meeting Wednesday for their approval and if that board approves the contract it will become active on Oct. 1, City Attorney Sean Parker told commissioners.
