Judging by the effervescent joy on her face, Myrtice Young tells of the exciting events and exhibits soon to take place at the newly-named Polk County History Center.
After years in storage, 13 to be exact, a sign at the former courthouse in downtown Bartow made its official debut at a dedication ceremony held Tuesday, Sept. 18.
With the unveiling, the former Polk County Historical Museum and the Genealogical Library officially became the Polk County History Center.
