The dpowntown area has been sketched out for the coming Relay For Life. The purple streets will house tents. The Survivor and Luminara tents are in Fort Blount Park. And, the open grass area that runs along Wilson Avenue will have activities and movies on the wall. The stage will be outside the courthouse facing Broadway.

Alana Snyder, a senior at Bartow's International Baccalaureate School, was recently awarded a Nordstrom College Scholarship for $10,000. She was one of only 80 recipients throughout the united States to receive the award.
Don’t plan to go to the high school football stadium for the Relay For Life in April. There’s been a change.
Tents will be housed around the Polk County History Center. The luminara and survivor tents will be in Fort Blount Park. The stage will be on the sidewalk at The Polk County History Center on the side facing Broadway. The grassy area on Wilson Avenue and Main Street will feature activities and movies on the wall.
