Survey: Most school employees favor bi-weekly pay
As long as anybody at Tuesday’s school board work session could remember, Polk school employees have been paid once a month.
That doesn’t mean it’s written in stone, however. Mark Grey, Assistant Superintendent for Business Services, said a survey was sent out to see whether employees preferred weekly, bi-weekly or monthly paydays and if they wanted their checks spread out over 10 months, or 12, as it is currently.
