There will be some Polk County celebrities on display at the Polk County History Center in Bartow and the Polk Museum of Art.

“In Vibrant Color: Vintage Celebrity Portraits from the Harry Warnecke Studio,” the first exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution to be shown in Polk County and it opens at Polk Museum of Art on Saturday, Oct. 27, and will remain on view through Saturday, Jan. 12. The exhibit was organized by the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery.
