U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson predicted Monday that millions of dollars earmarked to solve the problem of citrus greening will likely be approved now that the country’s presidential election is over.
Nelson was in Lake Wales Monday, six days after being re-elected to his third term as Senator last week, speaking at the 79th annual stockholder’s meeting for Citrus World Inc., the parent company of Florida’s Natural which employs nearly 900 people in its local operation.
