The Bartow Airport Authority will not decide until December whether to renew its contract with commercial real estate broker Saunders Ralston Dantzler, which expires Dec. 31.

The Airport Authority had entered into an agreement with the real estate firm Jan. 1, in which the firm would search and promote the airport and industrial park to prospective businesses located outside Bartow and Florida. Although several prospects initially expressed interest, according to Larry Bossarte, who is with the firm, little if anything every materialized beyond that. However, Saunders Ralston Dantzler was not held entirely at fault. Even the airport had not had much success.
