A local defense attorney was arrested this week for manufacturing drugs, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said.

The High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area charged William “Bill” Evans Nov. 14 for manufacturing methampheramine and marijuana possession among other charges, PCSO reports. Evans, 56, was on probation for disorderly conduct and served a year in prison for manufacturing methamphetamine, according to information from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
