The Bartow Intimidators Competitive Softball Team wants to go to Williamsburg, Va., this summer from July 21-27 and play in the National Softball Association Class B Eastern World Series. After having won numerous championships, it is the next step of progression for the nine girls who compose the Under-12 division and have played together the past three-to-five years.
The challenge is getting there. They will need to raise a minimum of $13,000. That projected cost covers entry fees, travel, lodging and meals. So far, $3,000 has been raised through a variety of fund raising events.
