Next weekend there will be people running from Mary Holland Park through tires, under monster trucks and through other obstacles all to help Bartow try to get sculptures on the city streets.

It is an effort being put forth by the Bartow Rotary Club with the help of the Bartow High School Art Club in trying to get more interest in Bartow from the outside and help beautify the town in the meantime. The Yellow Jacket Stomp Adventure Run is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9. Check in and day registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at Mosaic Park.
