Say “Success at Six” and ask people what it is or what it means. Chances are many, if not most, people will have little if any idea.

The answer is, “Success at Six” is a United Way of Central Florida program that (as its brochure states) is “dedicated to creating a community where all children, by the age of 6, have the mental, physical, social and emotional foundation needed to grow into healthy, productive members of the community.”
