Memorial dedication
set for long-time ‘Friend’

When people walk into the Bartow Public Library, they will see a statue of a boy sitting cross-legged, reading a book on a bench.
The plaque in front will read, in part, “I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way.”
