On Thursday in front of the library, a memorial statue will be dedicated to the man who contributed much to the library and to the community.

A statue of a boy sitting cross-legged reading a book on a bench will be dedicated to David Hallock at 6 p.m. It will have a plaque that reads “I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way.”
