For Sherry MacBlaine it will be the first time she is showing the quilts she and her family has made and they will be among about 40 of them made by people from throughout the country this weekend at the Bloomin’ Arts Festival.
The quilts will be on display during the 42nd Annual Festival at the Polk County History Center and while many people there are familiar with having their work shown, MacBlaine, a Bartow resident for 13 years has never had hers on display in such a fashion. She has, however, had her work on display before. In fact, it was on display just about a week ago the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church where it was raffled during the Pancake Breakfast.
