Marcus Jordan was thumbs up at the 2011 at the Relay For Life at Bartow High School. With the Apex team, he and Kimberly Acorn, were all-American at the annual event.
Up until the end of his life, Marcus Jordan kept his faith and when this year’s Relay For Life happens in the second weekend of April, Bartow’s honorary chairman will be among the hundreds remembered during the luminara ceremony.
Named as this year’s honorary chairman at the Relay For Life kickoff in late October, Jordan, who suffered from pancreatic cancer, died Feb. 8 at 41.
