Girl Scouts honored at meeting

Girl Scouts Troop #70 were honored at the March 4 meeting of the Bartow City Council meeting. “I thank you all for the good work you’ve done and someday you may be sitting up here,” Bartow Mayor Leo Longworth told seven Girl Scouts as they accepted a proclamation Monday at the city commission meeting.
All they did was smile.
