You may not realize it, but Polk County is growing, and fast. But it’s not Legoland fostering urban sprawl, it’s fast food enlarging bellies that has Polk Vision focused on an initiative to decrease the obesity rate in Polk County.

Building a Healthier Polk is a group of community partners organized by Polk Vision, a partnership of citizens and public, private and civic organizations, with the goal of reducing Polk’s obesity rate to the state average.
