It took a little while on Monday to get the torpedo in place but it is locked in for the dedication ceremony scheduled for Saturday.
On loan to Sea Poacher Base of the USS Veterans Inc., the 2,250-pound torpedo from that submarine is on the grass in the front of Summerlin Academy after it was refurbished locally and delivered there by McDonald Construction.
