Our second Super Summer Show will be Wednesday with Wonderful World of Bats. You can meet some live Florida bats and learn why they are so important to the health of our ecosystem. This is presented by the Florida Bat Conservancy and sponsored by the Friends of the Library. All the super summer shows are designed for school-aged children, ages 6 and older. Children younger than 6 are allowed but we do ask that the parent stay with them.
Nine to 12-year-olds will be meeting Thursday at 3 p.m. for Mad Science. In keeping with the theme of digging in to read, we will be making fossil imprints. We do ask that you call ahead to pre-register so we can have enough supplies.
Let’s play Teen Feud! Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. teens will go head to head in this fun competition.
Next Saturday is a movie day. We will be showing “Oz: The Great and Powerful” at 2:30 p.m. This movie is rated PG and runs 130 minutes.
