To those interested and invested in education, we humbly respect all of the educators and support staff in our schools. We also feel there is not a better candidate for our next superintendent than David Lewis.

Polk County Schools have been blessed to have him impact our schools as a teacher, the Assistant Principal, then Principal, then Director of High Schools, and now Associate Superintendent.

As a local business owner, it is good business to invest in our employees and equip them with professional learning, nurture them with your company’s core values, and give them experience that reach the breadth of your customers and the community you serve.

Polk County School Board should be proud of the time and involvement that they have placed within their employee David Lewis. He knows Polk County and their schools. He has the balance of the academic know-how and the extracurricular/behavioral astuteness.

With a younger grandson and two granddaughters that are in first grade in Polk County Schools, we know we have a long haul before they are seniors walking across the platform to get their diplomas. We gladly, proudly entrust our next generations’s education to David Lewis as our next leader of Polk County Schools.
