Joanne Kiley Bass,70, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Aug. 5, 2012.

Born Oct. 20, 1941, in Orange, N.J., she was the daughter of Bill and Margie (Kiley) Schreiber.

She was a longtime resident of Bartow, but spent her final years residing in Lakeland.

Joanne will be missed by two loving sons, Daniel Casey Bass of Lakeland and David C. Bass of Atlanta; and three beautiful grandchildren. The family has planned a private event, and has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
