Jimmie Sue Baden, 69, passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at her home after a battle with cancer.

Jimmie Sue was born March 9, 1943, in Bartow. She retired as a bus driver for Polk County Public Schools after 36 years. She was a member of Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hartwell and Agnes Grubbs.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Carlos “Buddy” Baden of Bartow; son, Troy Baden of Bartow; two sisters, Cindy Sowell and husband David of Lakeland and Shirley Naab and husband Warren of Lakeland; grandson, Tyler Baden, and granddaughter, Paige Baden, both of Bartow; three nephews, Rennie Naab and wife Colleena of Lake Alfred, William Berry of Lakeland and Kyle Berry of Chicago; great-nephew Isaiah; and four great-nieces, Kami, Cindy, Maranda and Grace.

Family will receive friends from 5 to
7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 23, at the funeral home. Interment will at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
