Mary G. Morgan, 91, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center of natural causes.

Born Nov. 25, 1921, in Viropa, W.Va., Mrs. Morgan was a resident of Lakeland two years.

She and her husband, Robert, were residents of Clearwater, Fla., for many years.

She moved to Brevard, N.C. after her husband’s death.

She was a bookkeeper and comptroller for many years.

She was a volunteer for the Polk County School Board Pre-School program.

She volunteered for the Sun Coast Hospital in Clearwater, and the Indian Rocks Public Library.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Robert O. Morgan.

She is survived by three sons; Bob Morgan (Becci) of Tampa, Harry Morgan (Nancy) of Bartow; and Mike Morgan (Ginger) of Brevard, N.C.; 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church 355 S. Florida Ave, Bartow.

Interment will be held in Bridgeport Cemetery, Bridgeport, W.Va.
