On Sunday, Nov. 25, Polk County Sheriff’s Traffic homicide investigators arrested 29-year-old Christopher A. Koenig, of 4048 Byrds Crossing Drive, Lakeland, and charged him with causing the death of a pedestrian, 16-year-old Blake Dowdy, of Lakeland.

Koenig was charged with one count leaving the scene of a crash involving death and one count DUI causing death.
