Bartow's cheerleaders used a bit of plastic to cover themselves during the downpour that came with the annual Bartow-Fort Meade matchup Friday night.

The excitement of two unbeaten teams meeting was enough to draw a big crowd as Bartow prepared to host Fort Meade Friday night.

The excitement had to wait a bit though as bad weather rolled in just before kickoff, delaying the start of the annual Highway 17 Bowl. And, in the final minutes of the game, Fort Meade was winning 12-8. The game was not over by the press deadline.
