Often I like to talk about issues that can help the police department reduce the crime rate in the City. It is important to all of us; after all a lower crime rate makes everyone feel better and more comfortable.

In Bartow, we are fortunate … our crime rate has been going down every year since 2009. But we find ourselves constantly battling one area that requires the community’s help: property crime.
