Tonee Fabrizi, 4.4 GP, shortstop, daughter of Sonja and Tony Fabrizi.
Wants to attend the University of Tennessee and study medicine.
Comments from Coach Glenn Rutenbar: Tonee is our starting shortstop for the second year in a row. Tonee has outstanding ability both on defense and offense. Tonee has a bright future because she has room for improvement.
Mackenzie Brown, 3.1 GPA, outfield/designated hitter, daughter of Kim Hidle
Wants to attend FIU or UCF and study physical therapy.
Favorite memory as a Yellow Jacket: Playing and getting hits in the state championships last year and seeing all the people in the stands cheering for Bartow.
Comments from Coach Glenn Rutenbar: Mac was our starting DH towards the end of her freshmen year. Mac is fighting for outfield playing time right now. Mac could really help us with her bat as the year goes on.
Britney Meadows, 3.9 GPA, outfield/catcher, attends IB High School, daughter of Sally and Steve Meadows.
What do you want to study or do after high school: No response received.
Favorite memory as a Yellow Jacket: No Response received.
Comments from Coach Glenn Rutenbar: Britney is our backup catcher and she is also fighting for outfield playing time. Britney is versatile and can help the team both offensively and defensively.
Taylor Sturgill, 3.2 GPA, outfield, daughter of Lori and Derick Sturgill.
Wants to attend the University of Georgia.
Best Memory on the Yellow Jackets: When she received the offensive player of the year on the JV last year.
Comments from Coach Glenn Rutenbar: Taylor has been a part-time starter in left field so far this year. Taylor is working to become more consistent offensively. Taylor plays a good outfield and has a strong arm.
Meredith McGinnis, 3.2 GPA, designated hitter/infield, daughter of Laura and Andy McGinnis.
Wants to Attend Wake Forest for Sports Medicine.
Favorite memory as a Yellow Jacket: Hitting a home run at Lake Wales earlier this year.
Comments from Coach Glenn Rutenbar: Meredith is playing both junior varsity and varsity right now. Meredith brings a strong bat but needs to be more consistent. Meredith plays 3B on the JV and will do some playing on the varsity as a DH.
Lexi Sims, 3.8 GPA, catcher, daughter of Nikki and Mike Hall
Would like to attend the University of Florida and study sports medicine.
Favorite memory as a Yellow Jacket: Hitting her first high school home run against George Jenkins earlier this year.
Comments from Coach Glenn Rutenbar: Lexy is our starting catcher on varsity as a freshmen. Lexy has all the physical tools necessary to be a great player. She is batting in the fourth spot and is our leading hitter right now.
Alex Mace, 4.0 GPA, outfield/catcher, attends Summerlin Academy, daughter of Virginia and Van Mace.
Not sure what she wants to do but definitely want to attend college.
Favorite memory as a Yellow Jacket: Walking through the entrance and seeing her name on the board with all the varsity players.
Comments from Coach Glenn Rutenbar: Alex has been a part-time starter in right field for the varsity and is also one of our catchers.
