BOCC tackles new jail in workshop

DESOTO COUNTY — The DeSoto Board of County Commissioners held the first workshop related to building a new jail and command center in the county.

Attending the Tuesday workshop were Corrections Bureau Commander Capt. Ray Kugler, DeSoto County Sheriff Will Wise, Major Sam Williamson, Law Enforcement Bureau Commander Capt. James Vitali and 911 Coordinator Jordan Ahrens.
