Earl from Emerson Farms will make his debut today at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds. The Charlotte County Fair runs through Feb. 10. Testing him out on Thursday was Praxton Emerson, 7, and his sister Emily, 4, being pulled by their father Tim, making sure the 15-year-old Clydesdale was comfortable toting children around on his back.

For the past 25 years, the Charlotte County Fair has educated and entertained people — and this year promises to be no exception.
From today through Feb. 10,
at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds located on State Road 776 across from Charlotte Sports Park, musical acts, professional wrestling exhibitions, musicians, animal shows, agricultural exhibits, mouth-watering food, and death-defying rides — two of which are being presented for the first time anywhere — will certainly thrill fairgoers.
