ARCADIA — Just over one year ago Kim and Bill Johnson opened The Good Life in downtown Arcadia and in a sense started living the good life themselves. The Good Life offers certified organic, fair trade, eco-friendly, local and other earth/people friendly products, at reasonable prices. If you can’t make a trip to their store located at 134 W. Oak St., you should visit their website at www.goodlifeinarcadia.com.

Kim accidentally discovered this gem of a city in late 2008 when meeting a former co-worker for lunch. She lived in Winter Haven and her friend lived in Bonita Springs and they found it was a good place to “meet in the middle.” Kim really enjoyed the peaceful drive and she thought the train depot and antique district were great.
