The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Walter John Knoeringer, 45, on charges of sexual assault of a victim under age 12 and lewd and lascivious behavior with a victim age 12 to 18.

According to the arrest report, DCSO was contacted by a Child Protective Investigator from the Department of Children and Families concerning a report about a 14-year-old child being victimized by Knoeringer, whose address is listed as the 11000 block of S.E. Crenshaw Ave., Arcadia.
