The DeSoto County High School girls JV soccer team played Riverview in their first home match of the season Nov. 6. After two losses on the road in North Port and Port Charlotte, the team was hoping that a home crowd would help in getting their first win of the season.
There was a nice crowd in the bleachers on a cool autumn evening but it wasn’t enough to give the Bulldogs their first win as they fell 8-0 to Riverview.
