DeSoto Head JV soccer coach Omar Rendon talks to his team in an earlier game this season. Rendon became a father for the first time just 15 hours before his team defeated Hardee 2-1.
The DeSoto County Junior Varsity boys soccer coach Omar Rendon had an ear-to-ear smile and said, “It was a perfect day.”
He could have been talking about his team’s come from behind 2-1 win over Hardee or the progress his team had been showing this season. He could even have meant the perfect weather for his team to play in.
