PORT CHARLOTTE — Midway through Wednesday’s wrestling match at Port Charlotte High School, the scoreboard was malfunctioning, displaying a 200-0 lead in favor of the Pirates.
It prompted a few laughs at the time, but after the problems were fixed and the match was over, it was no laughing matter for Port Charlotte.
