ENGLEWOOD — The Charlotte High School girls basketball team got hot when it needed to Tuesday night and took a 56-46 victory over Lemon Bay, spoiling the Manta Rays’ senior night.

With the score tied at 46 with 3 minutes, 15 seconds left in the contest, the Tarpons (11-12) reeled off 10 straight points to gain the victory.
