DeSoto County’s first-year baseball coach Trey Hill did senior night the way it was intended to be. It was a time to honor the seven seniors in front of the hometown fans in the final home game of their careers.

Many times a team will play a senior for a few innings and take him out of the game in an effort to win the game. Hill started all of his seniors and left them in for the entire game, and it paid off with an 8-2 win over district rival Mulberry. Two runs in the fifth inning broke the tie and a four-run eruption in the sixth sealed the win for the Bulldogs.
