Six DeSoto County athletes were named to the Charlotte Sun All Area teams for spring sports. Included in that half-dozen was Garrett Anderson, who was named the All Area baseball player of the year.

Anderson was a pitcher and shortstop for the Bulldogs and according to his coach Trey Hill, “He always gave us a chance to win. He competed every time out and was one of the team’s leaders.”
