DeSoto County opens season with win over North Port

North Port’s Kylie Bell received several balloons from her teammates on the bus while celebrating her 15th birthday Tuesday. It appeared as if her teammates would also be giving the sophomore a win to add to the balloons.

However, the DeSoto County Volleyball team wasn’t in a giving mood as the Bulldogs bounced back from a 25-21 first game loss and won the next three games 25-17, 25-16 and 25-18.
