NORTH PORT — A state inspector shut down Stuff-A-Belly Diner in North Port Tuesday after finding 22 health-code violations — 19 of them critical — including live and dead roaches in the kitchen, grease-encrusted areas, food not being thawed properly and a dirty employee bathroom.
“There were 150-plus dead roaches located in kitchen, including in, around and on top of the dishwasher, on the kitchen cook line adjacent to food storage shelves, and on the food preparation area floor,” a Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation report states.
