Sewer project gets green light

This map identifies the Englewood Water District's V-9B sewer expansion area. EWD supevisors agreed Thursday to take the first step to start the sewer expansion project.

ENGLEWOOD — The Englewood Water District took a first step forward with the V-9B sewer expansion north of Manasota Beach Road Thursday.
EWD supervisors gave the go-ahead to Administrator Mike Ray to notify home and other property owners that the water district intends to move forward with the sewer expansion and to outline associated costs.
