Englewood Lions cheer team places third in regionals

The Englewood Lions cheerleaders won third place in the Southeast Regional Cheerleading Competition. While many people were shopping the day after Thanksgiving, 21 Englewood cheerleaders were in Kissimmee competing at the Southeast Regional Cheer Competition.
The Englewood Lions cheer team was one of 16 teams from Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi invited to compete. In order to qualify teams had to have won or placed second at their conference competition. The Lions had placed second.
