NOCATEE — The interim assistant principal at Nocatee Elementary School in DeSoto County was found dead Thursday at her home in Arcadia.

Nakisha Hill, 34, was found after she failed to show up for work that morning. Her co-workers, alarmed when she was not at school, called 911, and the Arcadia Police Department responded, discovering her in her home.
