Mantas girls soccer ends season on winning streak

The two Lemon Bay High School goals were scored by Karina Hleuka and Sarah Stuckey. Stuckey’s was the game winner while Hleuka’s was her first in her career.

ENGLEWOOD — The Lemon Bay High School JV girls soccer team ended their season Thursday with a 4-4-5 record but three of their wins came in their final three games.

They finished with shutout wins over DeSoto 6-0, Port Charlotte 1-0 and then in their final home game of the season they again shut out DeSoto County 2-0. Two of those three games were on the road.
