ENGLEWOOD ­— The Englewood community lost a true champion for the less fortunate Tuesday morning with the death of Rev. Sue Bannan, pastor of Englewood Foursquare Church.

Friends say Bannan, who had been under hospice care, died around 2:30 a.m. at Englewood Community Hospital. The diminutive 76-year-old was a tireless worker for people in need and those who knew and worked with her say she’s left very big shoes to fill.
