PORT CHARLOTTE — Charlotte County will stay the course with its future management of Stump Pass, including looking at structures to help stabilize the pass.

At a joint meeting Wednesday, the county’s Beaches and Shores, Marine Advisory, and Parks and Recreation committees gave their overwhelming support for the county moving forward with a 10-year plan for managing the Stump Pass inlet.
