Jubilee Center fundraiser

The Parish Life Events Committee of St. Davids Episcopal Church held a fundraiser for the Jubilee outreach center Jan. 28, to a sold out house. Cook Leo Michaud brought out the community on a Monday night for a surf-and-turf meal. Entertainment was a male beauty contest. Eight outgoing gentlemen dressed as women had the audience laughing and applauding. The event raised $1,755.32 for the Jubilee Center to be used for outreach in the Englewood community.
