SARASOTA COUNTY — On Tuesday, the Sarasota County School Board will hear updates on both their general fund and capital budgets during a morning workshop. According to the backup materials attached to the agenda, it appears the board will have to come up with $6 million in cuts to the district’s General Fund.

According to Board Member Caroline Zucker, that news isn’t as dire as it could have been.
