CCSO issues alert for missing adult

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Missing Endangered Adult alert for Louis Michael Toth, 23, who was last seen Feb. 28 leaving the Smokey Phantom Hookah Lounge, 675 Tamiami Trail, Unit 3, Port Charlotte, where he is a co-owner. Toth was last seen driving his 2002 red Ford Focus station wagon (Florida tag 244WMY) and was wearing orange board shorts and a white T-shirt with the words “Army Strong” on the chest. Toth was en route to his residence at 5237 Greenwood Ave., North Port, but never arrived. His normal route of travel is Tamiami Trail.

Toth was a U.S. Army Combat Medic who was discharged for psychological reasons and is noncompliant with his medication. Toth has several tattoos, including the words “Gore Fest” tattooed on his fingers, a skull on his left forearm, and the silhouette of Gotham City (from Batman) covering his entire back. Toth is not known to drink or use narcotics. He removed nothing from the home and has not contacted his friends, father or girlfriend since his disappearance. Surrounding counties report no contact with either law enforcement or hospitals. Local mental health facilities were also checked with negative results. Toth receives treatment at Bay Pines VA Medical Center in St. Petersburg but has not been seen there since his disappearance either.
