Staying busy leads to fulfillment

In addition to serving as woodworking instructor at the Cultural Center of Charlotte County, Arthur Mayes makes fundraising projects such as these reindeer. At 86, he continues his lifelong belief in staying busy.

It’s often said that all a man needs to succeed at anything is to have a passion for it.
Arthur Mayes has been passionate about underwater diving, cooking, civil engineering and woodworking.
